Description
Whether a day trip, a fishing trip or overnighting, this does it all.
With the just completed upgrades, a wonderful time to enjoy. This Mainship, while a 2005, should be considered a Mainship 30, 2005/2025, as it has just completed a mechanical refit and upgrade. In October, 2025, the 2 diesel fuel tanks were removed along with the Yanmar engine. Two new epoxy coated aluminum fuel tanks were fitted into the boat along with new fill and vent hoses. The Yanmar diesel engine was taken to the repair facility, The heat exchanger was pressure tested to 40 PSI without leakage, the engine thermostat was replaced, the engine valve lash was adjusted to Yanmar specification, the Yanmar timing belt was replaced and tested. Additionally, the gear cooler was cleaned , the oil change fitting at the pan, replaced, replaced hoses and clamps. The fuel cooler was chemically cleaned, the fresh water coolant system flushed and replaced cooland plugs, serviced the ZF transmission, replaced the oil pressure sender and oil sender alarm sensor, cleaned transmission neutral switch, replaced coolant cap and stainless steel exhaust elbow. Removed and replaced all 4 diesel engine mounts, aligned engine/transmission to prop shaft, connected electrical connections, refilled oil and coolant systems. This work was completed October 23, 2025 (Documentation available for review).
Additional work provided included boat bottom preparation for painting, painting of 2 full coats of Micron CSC and one additional coat of CSC at high wear areas. applied Prop Coat Barnacle Barrier at running gear, replaced the bow thruster propeller and zinc, trim tab and prop shaft zincs.
Final upgrade installed in December 2025, replaced windlass with Lewmar V-700. Please see attached invoices of upgrades totaling more than $27,000 of work that make this Mainship ready to provide you with years of enjoyment.
Relaunch and sea trial was October 27, 2025, verified operation: No leaks coolant temp @ W.O.T. 184F at 3650 RPM, no vibration/engine performed well.

Mechanical Equipment
The Yanmar 6LPA-STP is well known for its long lasting abilities while providing dependable power. Its turbo and Bennet trim tabs quickly propels the boat to plane.
Unique to this boat, the Owner has just completed upgrades. These include removal of the Yanmar for shop service including the heat exchanger, replacement of timing chain, service of the transmission oil cooler and new motor mounts.
Further improvements just completed are replacement of the two fuel tanks with new stainless steel epoxy coated tanks, new fill and vent hoses.
The Sleipner/Side Power bow thruster has been upgraded with the new prop kit and protection zinc.
As indicated in the photos, the boat has been hauled for the new work and has received two coats of Micron CSC bottom paint and Black Widow coating on the running gear. Zincs on the shaft, stern, trim tabs and bow thruster have all been replaced, October 2025.

Galley Equipment
The galley includes a microwave oven, a cooktop and 12 v refrigerator, sink with hot and cold water. Storage cabinets above and below the work service provide spacious capability.
Serving the galley and sleeping area is a heat pump that provides air conditioning and heating, below deck. (Shore powered, only)
The stereo system with Blue-tooth capability is located in the galley.
Deck and Hull Equipment
The boat is a HARDTOP, a most welcome amenity in sunny south. Also included are aft and side curtains for complete enclosure of the cockkpit area.
A hot and cold water deck shower near the swim platform provides a welcome amenity. Seating in the cockpit includes two chairs forward and cushioned bench seating with storage. Fishing rod holders are installed on both sides of the boat.
A Lewmar electric windlass and plow anchor at the bow with foot switch as well as cockpit windlass operation is present.
Navigation Systems
Navigation includes an integrated Raymarine Chart Plotter, Raymarine Radar, Raymarine Autopilot and Raymarine Fish Finder/depth sounder.
September 2024 the new Standard Horizon GX24GPS, 25 watt VHF with GPS, AIS, GPS antenna and cover were installed and connect to the full size vertical whip antenna.
Note: The installed compass is not operational.

Helm/cockpit instruments include fuel gauge, DC voltmeter, tachometer, hourmeter.
A single head, below, includes an electric powered toilet, sink and shower.
A newly installed LED masthead light replaces the incandescent style for reduced usage of battery capacity.
