Description
*Assumable Moorage in Sidney*
A boater's boat, the Norstar 360 cruises comfortably and confidently at speeds from 8 to 22 knots. Her well-defined hull shape provides dry, safe and soft ride especially when sea conditions pick up. The modified-vee design with its fine entry forward and moderate deadrise aft provide exciting performance, excellent sea-keeping and great fuel efficiency.
Superbly engineered, strongly constructed and beautifully finished, the Norstar 360 is built using the finest materials and best equipment. Configured and outfitted for year around cruising, powered by twin Cummins 380 hp diesels, she has many safety features including ample side decks and welded stainless steel railings for safe passage to the foredeck.
A spacious master stateroom features island queen berth with four large drawers underneath aft, and massive storage under the forward end. There are two large storage shelves on either side of the berth with top-access storage bins. The port side has a double wide hanging locker, and the starboard side has a single hanging locker. There is a TV mounted on the aft wall. There is a large storage locker under the floor at the aft end of the berth.
The freshwater head has a large separate stall shower with glass door. The cabinet holds a sink and sliding door access to storage, with a mirror above, and two opening ports with curtains. There are also two drawers and a cabinet under the sink.
The large gourmet galley is open to the main cabin. There are three banks of drawers, a large cupboard under the 2-burner propane cooktop, and under-sink storage. There are also two upper cupboards, one forward and one aft, as well as open storage bins for plates and bowls. A convection microwave and large fridge complete the galley amenities. A fan extracts cooking smells and heat, as well as the two opening ports complete with curtains.
The spacious salon contains a breakfast bar with Stidd chair, entertainment center, an L-shaped settee, a Stidd helm seat for total seating capacity of six. Large sliding cabin windows have shades for privacy. There are three huge drawers under the settee, and storage in the cabinet opposite the settee in a top-loading bin, and shelves accessed through the sliding doors. The cabinet also contains a small freezer.
The raised convertible settee provides perfect viewing out the large windows, and contains a pullout berth for guest accommodation and extra storage for the berth cushion and bedding, which is accessed when the berth is extended. The table is lowered by hydraulic lift with electrical switch in the galley.
The lower helm station provides 360 degree panoramic visibility and includes a complete suite of Garmin multi-function displays, auto pilot, radar and navigation software which are duplicated at the flying bridge. The electrical panel is located down the steps to the galley and is hinged for easy access to the wiring.
The galley stairs are also operated by a hydraulic lift which gives you access to the machine room which contains the inverter/charger, hurricane heater, and other electrical equipment.
The engine room can be accessed via a hatch in the salon floor, or through a hatch in the cockpit. It is clean and bright and gives easy access to the two engines, batteries, and other equipment.
The cockpit contains three hatches in the floor and three lockers in the transom. A sturdy door gives access to the swim step. Electric davit is mounted on the stern and holds a new Gala 9.8" dinghy. There is dedicated storage for two propane tanks, and storage for three gerry cans for dinghy fuel along with boat hook and deck brush storage. The main cabin is accessed through a sliding glass door.
A ladder from the cockpit to the flybridge is at an angle making it an easy climb. There are two helm seats, a table and a bench seat with storage underneath. More storage is located under the instrument panel. A full cover protects the flybridge in inclement weather.
Other equipment includes diesel hydronic furnace, electric dinghy davit, bow and stern thrusters, electronic controls with trolling feature, Smart Craft engine monitoring, inverter/battery charger with automatic charge relay, anchor windlass, engine block heaters, fresh and sea water wash down at bow and cockpit, BBQ with easy attachment to propane tank, and larger solar panel array which allows for extended time away from being plugged into shore power. With a capacity easily capable of running your day to day amenities (Fridge/Freezer/Lights/Music etc) without your batteries running low or the need to run a noisy generator!
Custom features include teak & holly cabin sole, teak cockpit, electric cabin heaters (2), windshield wipers and defrosters, and maximum possible storage for galley, mooring, cleaning and personal gear, including a wine locker.
The Norstar's propulsion and running gear includes dripless shaft seals, four blade nibral propellers, cast bronze v-struts and rudders, fuel tank sight gauges, extensive engine room sound isolation and fire suppression, Norstar custom underwater exhaust, large capacity AGM batteries and hydraulic trim tabs.
In 2022 major upgrades were completed which include all new navigation instruments, autopilot, and engine panels, new inverter/charger, all new Ultraleather upholstery, and new Stidd helm chairs, dinghy and outboard, etc.
Lexicon is currently undergoing cabinetry work to enhance functionality and comfort. A new 6’2” cushioned bench is being installed along the port-side entryway, complemented by an Isotherm freezer drawer and eight additional storage drawers. This project is scheduled for completion over the winter season, with all work expected to be finalized within the next couple of months.

Manufacturers Notes
Nestled in the NW corner of the U.S., an area well known for high quality boat manufacturing, you'll find one of the highest quality boat yards anywhere &naash; NORSTAR BOATS, INC. If you're looking for a boat that expertly delivers speed and stability, comfort and efficiency, ease in maintenance and traditional aesthetics, then a Norstar is the boat for you.
Norstar starts each boat with a superior hull design, one that is the result of years of experience, not only on the drawing board and computer, but also in actual operation at sea. Norstar's boats are known for their fast yet efficient and predictable performance in all sea conditions. Through years of testing, Norstar's founder/designer Gary Nordtvedt has engineered a hull that will meet the demands of even the most exacting and experienced yachtsmen.
Just as the Norstar design is second-to-none, so too is its construction. Norstar's crew is dedicated to building you the finest boat possible. The Norstar hull is hand-laid fiberglass throughout, and its finish work is just what you would expect from a crew that averages over 20 years of experience in yacht manufacturing: flawless. These experienced craftsmen and women work together to ensure that each boat meets its owners' high standards for quality workmanship and thoughtful engineering.
After over 20 years in the boating industry as a designer, engineer, and owner/captain of a commercial fishing vessel, Gary Nordtvedt founded NORSTAR BOATS, INC. in 1995 in Bellingham, WA. A second-generation yacht designer and builder (his father, Art Nordtvedt, designed and built Uniflite boats in the 1960s) Nordtvedt's goal in founding his own company was to work together with Norstar's crew and owners to build the highest quality boats possible.
Norstar's dedication to this goal has only intensified in the subsequent years. And while Norstar remains committed to excellence, the Norstar crew has set its sights on a new goal: to be the most "user-friendly" boat manufacturers around. Although Norstar can build you its standard boat, a "standard" boat has yet to come out of Norstar's yard. Instead, Norstar has tailored each boat to its owners' specific needs, whatever they may be. Working together, the owners and Norstar's crew have made both big and small modifications to the standard designs; the results of this unique collaborative effort have made the company nimbler and the owners happier.
Norstar Yachts are known for their innovative design and exceptional quality of materials, construction and finish. Norstar's designer/builder Gary Nordtvedt individually crafts each Norstar 360 in accordance with it's Owners requirements and preferences.
You will also find that Norstar's reputation for following a no-nonsense sales and service policy is very well deserved. In fact, it's reflective of Norstar's belief that communicating directly and honestly is the only way to do business.
