Description
PACE" is an exceptional 2005 Selene 40 Ocean Trawler, currently lying in Phuket. This long-range cruising yacht is presented in turn-key condition following an extensive recent refit. Built by Jet Tern to a very high specification, she has recently completed a refit in Phuket including a full repaint of topsides and superstructure, refurbishment of the teak decks, interior re-varnishing, and the installation of a new hardtop on the flybridge.
The vessel is powered by a 185Hp Perkins M185C main engine (825 hours) with Twin Disc Power Commander EC200 controls. A unique 44Hp Westerbeke wing "get-home" engine (115 hours) provides additional safety for long-range cruising. The Northern Lights 7kW generator has 150 hours since a zero-hour rebuild. Recent mechanical work includes the replacement of the stern thruster, two 'Tides' shaft seals, and a new main engine shaft.
The interior features 2 cabins and 2 heads with three self-contained Marine Air conditioning units (7,000 BTU forward, 12,000 BTU master, and 16,000 BTU saloon). The galley is fully equipped with a Force 10 3-burner hob and oven, multiple refrigerators, and a 12V freezer.
Electronics consist of a comprehensive Raymarine suite:

Raymarine Radar, GPS, and AIS
Autopilot with wireless control and dual 4" stations
Wind, Depth, and Log/Speed instruments
2 x Icom VHF radios
Additional equipment includes a SidePower 12V bow thruster, an Aquamiser water maker, and an ESI Clean fuel polishing system. On deck, she is equipped with a Muir Cougar windlass, 20kg Plough main anchor with 80m of chain, and a 12V DC davit for the included Quicksilver tender and Mercury 5HP outboard. All five battery banks were replaced in 2024.
