'Amarok' a beautiful 2006 example of a Piper Nivernais 55N Dutch Style Replica Barge
Piper Boats are renown for their quality of build and value for money in the replica Dutch Barge Market. These barges are all individual in their own way, however follow the same DNA as the perfect cruising companion for nomadic live aboard life on the water. 'Amarok' is no exception as she was originally built for Simon Piper for his own use and he knows a thing or two about building modern day barges.
This remarkably comfortable barge has two good sized double cabins, plus 2 heads and showers, large saloon with open plan galley and dining area below, plus a further wheelhouse saloon with side and aft doors offering a further indoor/outdoor area to while away those sunny cruises and lazy days. There is a fully equipped galley consisting of a large fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave and washing machine.
'Amarok' also benefits from her economical Perkins Sabre shaft drive diesel engine and a powerful electric bow thruster. This ship has an excellent power set up consisting of, Mastervolt 6kw generator, 12v and 24v alternators, 170a/3500w Inverter/charger.
Currently cruising the Burgundy area of France with a plan to end up in the Saint Jean de Losne area towards the end of this season. Viewing arrangements via appointment.
