Description
"Alchemy" is a premium low hour, freshwater, shed kept example of the ever popular Sea Ray 48 Sundancer. With a full windshield that goes to the hardtop along with an extended rigid bimini with full enclosure, the climate controlled helm and cockpit are great places to entertain and relax all year long. A spacious swim platform makes boarding a breeze and sightlines from the helm are excellent. With the bow thruster and diesel engines she is a pleasure to maneuver when docking. The helm features new Garmin electronics including two 16" displays, radar, autopilot, Cummins gauge interface, VHF and more. A Fusion stereo system is also integrated and features great sound along with multi color backlit speakers. Down below there is a private two stateroom/two head layout with the master forward featuring a centerline berth and a split head with separate stall shower. The guest stateroom is midship and features twin berths that can convert to a double and has its own private head. In between the staterooms is a large and bright salon and galley. Cherry cabinetry is featured throughout and like the exterior all upholstery is in excellent condition.
"Alchemy" has seen excellent care mechanically as well with a 600 hour service being performed on her low hour (554 hrs) Cummins Inboard Motors. The aftercoolers were replaced new in 2019 and a full aftercooler service was performed as part of the 600 hour service in 2024. Shore Power Solutions provided the service and replaced both turbos as well in 2024. The boat has been pampered and benefits from up to date service and predominate freshwater use on the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
