The Stingray 180 RX rides on our patented Z-Plane hull, which has proven through independent third-party tests to produce better than average performance. It is rated to carry up to seven passengers or 1,070 pounds, so we built in plenty of storage compartments bow to stern, including a massive floor compartment with an oversize door for large items and easy access. All-weather marine grade carpeting is used throughout and the upholstery is premium 32-ounce vinyl with special foam backing for added comfort and resilience. Powering the 180RX is a fuel-efficient 135 hp Volvo Penta 3.0-liter GLSX sterndrive equipped with power steering - a $395 added value that reduces steering effort to "fingertip" control! At 135 hp, this boat and engine package produces maximum speeds in the mid to high 40 mph range depending on the number of passengers and gear.
