Description
The Maine boat building industry has for centuries produced rugged, sea going vessels. Today the popularity of the Downeast motoryacht continues to grow worldwide. Boats like this Back Cove 33 lead the way. Her Deep Vee hull and 480 hp Cummins engine will get her on plane at 10 knots. She will cruise efficiently at 14-18 knots while sipping fuel at 12 gallons per hour. On deck she is practical and well laid out. Wide side decks and oversized hand rails add safety.
The main deck has plenty of space and comforts. Down below are sleeping accommodations for 4.
Bow and stern thrusters make this an easy to maneuver vessel.
She is a classic Downeast design with lots of curb appeal. The owners have kept her well maintained. Full binders with all maintenance records come with the boat.
Accommodations
The main helm deck has an elegant inlaid dining table for 4 that can convert to a sleeping berth. The helm deck is surrounded by large opening windows. To Starboard are the helm station, and spacious galley. Two refrigerators offer plenty of cold food storage. The aft deck has plenty of seating to enjoy being on the water.
Below deck the Back Cove 33 offers plenty of head and elbow room. There is 6'-5" of head room. Forward is a V berth that can be either twin single berths, the supplied filler creates a full size twin bed.
To starboard is well proportioned cedar hanging closet and stand up head with separate shower. To port is a comfortable lounge with inlaid table.
