Description
Based on a deep-V hull from award-winning designer Lou Codega, the Regulator 29 was planned around the weights and dimensions of Yamaha's latest four-stroke outboards for the ultimate in center console sportfishing boat performance. The helm showcases one of the most dynamic features on the 29 Classic full-width electronics storage behind a lockable panel. Two 12-inch Raymarine touch screen displays and a simrad auto-piolot are flush-mounted, with wiring for the electronics easily accessible from inside the console. Storage is king in the Regulator 29 Classic. Forward, a massive, 520-quart insulated box with macerator pump has locking storage for eight rods and room for trophy fish catches. On both sides of this compartment, 88-quart insulated lockers can be used for fish boxes or dry storage. There is a 64-quart beverage cooler tucked beneath the padded forward console seat, and moving aft, two side lockers can each hold a five-gallon bucket. All latches are locking and constructed of durable stainless steel, and all hatch lids are resin-transfer molded for an extra quality touch. An 84-quart insulated transom bait box was converted to a 2nd livewell and flanks a 30-gallon insulated transom livewell. A saltwater and 20-gallon freshwater washdown system is standard. A flip-door and transom walkthrough provides for easy boarding and access to the 29's mighty twin Yamaha F250 four-stroke outboard engines. Yamaha's Command Link Digital Network helps monitor critical engine performance, and Lenco 18 x 14 stainless steel trim tabs smooth out the ride even more. The leaning post structure is a 2 captains seeats with arm rests with integral tackle centerĀ with cololer and sink along with folding footrest and backrest. This 29 Classic include a fiberglass T-top with white powercoated stainless steel support with stereo and Quantum 5000S radio in the electronics box, 18-foot carbon fible outriggers, and a T-Top mountable five-rod rocket launcher. A stainless steel Edson wheel with Power Knob and Teleflex tilt wheel and power assist steering can make the 29 even easier to handle.
