Discussing such details may seem trivial when speaking about a yacht of this magnitude, yet it is difficult not to marvel at how two engines, each producing three thousand five hundred and ten horsepower, can propel a one hundred fifty four ton vessel to thirty six knots.
Interestingly, the designers believe that even seven thousand horsepower may not satisfy every Pershing 115 owner. For those who demand extreme performance, the engineers have prepared an extraordinary option: the MTU TF50 turbine, typically used on military and commercial vessels. This turbine adds an impressive five thousand six hundred horsepower, increasing maximum speed to fifty five knots and raising the cruising speed to forty knots. At such levels of performance, fuel considerations become almost irrelevant.
