"Form follows function" - few motor yacht designs embody this principle as clearly as the indestructible Targa offshore boats built by the long-established Finnish yard Botnia Marin AB. True to the motto "Targa takes you to the edge of the world and home safely", safety and ease of handling take top priority in the design and construction of these extremely seaworthy planing hulls. This focus on function and reliability has earned Targa motor yachts the nickname 'four-wheel drive of the seas'. Originally designed as fishing or workboats, the Targa model range has expanded over the decades. The Targa 27 series represents the original type within the model range and is the Finnish yard’s best-seller, in production in various generations since 1991.
This Targa 27.1 is a well-equipped, privately owned vessel sold by her first owner. Stored indoors every winter and maintained regularly both cosmetically and technically. Version with dark blue hull and the highest engine option available at the time of order: 2 x VOLVO PENTA D3-220. With this engine configuration, the Targa 27.1 reaches a top speed of approx. 38 knots. Economical cruising speed is approx. 26 knots. Extensive specification including VOLVO PENTA joystick control, bow thruster, teak deck, complete RAYMARINE navigation suite, electric windlass, fully equipped pantry block in the deck saloon, etc. The Targa 27.1 is lying here on the Kiel Fjord and can be viewed at any time by appointment.
