2012 Zeelander Z44 La Koko

The “La Koko” is a pre-owned Zeelander Z44 from 2012, now available through IYM.

This Z44 (Hull #014) is finished in exclusive Rolls Royce Titanium with light gray deck and white seams, a subdued yet powerful color scheme that perfectly matches the character of this model.

What truly sets this Z44 apart is its complete factory refit at Zeelander in 2025. After this extensive work, it has remained indoors at the yard and is in exceptional condition.

During the refit, the following were carried out:
- Fully repainted in Rolls Royce Titanium
- New upholstery and coverings
- Overhaul of the Volvo Penta IPS pods
- Various technical and cosmetic updates

As a result, this Z44 presents itself in a condition that is exceptional for a ship from 2012, absolutely in top condition.

Currently, it is still in winter storage (where a viewing is also possible), and from Easter it will be available for viewing at our harbor.

To give you an impression, we have put this video online, featuring a tour of a Z44 by a colleague in the USA. We can tell you that the La Koko is equipped with even more luxury.

Design & Construction

The Z44 is designed by Cor D. Rover and built by Zeelander Yachts. The result is a 44-foot sport cruiser where classic lines and modern technology come together at super yacht level.

The hull is made of core-infused vinylester sandwich construction, reinforced with stringers and bulkheads for maximum stiffness and minimal vibrations.

Thanks to the extensive sound insulation from Silent Line Group, the Zeelander Z44 is known for its whisper-quiet sailing, one of the most distinctive features of the brand.

A distinctive feature of this Z44 is the multifunctional swim platform in Esthec, which can be folded out to create a spacious sun deck. This provides extra lounging space right by the water.

This solution is not only comfortable while anchoring but also particularly practical for Mediterranean mooring. When docking stern-first, the platform offers extra space, stability, and a comfortable step from the quay — a great advantage in Southern European ports.
