2013 24 Young Boats
Custom Aluminum Tandem Axle Trailer Included
Exceptional, well maintained Young 24. Second owner boat with boat always having been kept indoors. Boat was delivered back to Young Boats in 2024 to update systems and replace fuel tank. New raw water pump, new fresh water pump, new rear seating package. New mounting plate for trolling motor, with new 36V Lithium battery and charger set up and run time charger from Yamaha engine alternator. Trolling motor updated and checked out. New hydraulic hoses for power pole, new swim ladder, and re-surfaced floor. All work completed by Young Boats. All systems go! This boat has an outstanding reputation and with the three piece construction has tremendous interior volume and true under gunnel space, providing far more support for fishing(toe-kick space) and rod/gear storage. The boat also has rear seat cushions in excellent shape which are kept away from the boat. The electronics are all excellent.
Young Boats has an exceptional reputation as a small volume, high quality boat builder located near Homosassa, Florida. They have a limited line of boats, and the 24’ has been one of their most popular hybrid style hulls, built with several different configurations. This is the hybrid version, and does extremely well in both inshore waters and coastal offshore, based on the sharp bow deadrise and the gunnel height with the mentioned toe kick space provided by the 11” gunnel over-hang, a feature most often over-looked by lesser competition. The boat also has an eisenglass T-top surround with smiley zipper in the front, providing all weather protection and reducing wind fatigue. The electric lifting electronics box provides outstanding security and protection for vital electronics. An upper electronics box provides for the VHF radio location and provides some additional weather protected storage. The leaning post seat provides multiple storage areas for Plano 3700 boxes, in addition to general gear and tackle storage. The well padded leaning post seat provides great support and seating for two across.
Electronics include Simrad NSS12 GPS/Chartplotter with Structure Scan Sounder package, in addition to Yamaha 6YC Digital Engine Monitoring Gauge.
Boat includes an 8’ power pole with new hydraulic hoses.
Boat includes a Minn Kota Riptide 36 Volt trolling motor with new 36 V Lithium Ion battery, Minn Kota Charger, as well as a run time charger from Yamaha engine alternator.
Boat includes a custom aluminum tandem axle trailer.
