BAYLINER 742
This Bayliner 742 is a superb Cuddy Cabin that is a fantastic starter boat. This boat is presented in generally very good condition with very little use (aprox 115 hrs) & has been kept in a dry stack for most of its life. It has almost every optional extra available including Bow Thruster, electric anchor windlass, Twin Batteries, cockpit galley with stove & fridge as well as chart plotter, VHF and stereo. In addition, it has a number of clever design features that not only make it stylish, but also very functional & practical. These include a Bimini top that folds completely away while still attached, a large L Shaped bench seat that converts from forward facing into a sun longer, a further large sun pad with tilting back rest and a table that can be used in the cockpit or cabin. It also has full camping covers, Tonneau cover & a generous cuddy cabin with good head height & lights as well as a stowable Sea Toilet, complete with Holding tank. It is also fitted with a powerful Mercruiser 4.3L, 220 hp engine that was serviced in December 2025. She is currently lying in Southampton.

WOW, what a great boat. This Bayliner 742 Cuddy Cabin is a perfect starter boat as she is very well equipped & ready to go boating & is offered for sale in very good. She offers a surprising amount of space for a boat of this size, both in the cockpit and Cuddy Cabin areas & is fitted with the powerful 4.3 ltr (220 hp) Mercruiser 4.3MPI Engine that has only completed approx 115 hours use that was last serviced in December 2025 & is ideal for water sports. The boat has been kept in a dry stack for most of its life, although it has been previously anti-fouled. This boat lends itself ideally for days out with family & friends doing water sports, or as a comfortable & cosy overnighter should you wish to travel a little further afield. This particular boat is fitted with almost every possible extra including a Bow Thruster, Colour Chart Plotter, VHF, Sea Toilet with Holding Tank, always useful with young children on-board & even an electric Anchor Windlass. Bayliner have certainly put a lot of thought into the design of this Cuddy, including stowage for the Bimini top without having to disconnect the frame, plenty of comfortable seating, two sun loungers with back rests and a lovely cockpit table that can be used in the cockpit & cabin.
