Description
SPECIFIC BOAT DETAILS BELOW. Designed for the serious fishermen, the Southport 29 Tournament Edition is identical to the 29 CC except for the characteristics of the leaning post and additional rod holders. The 29 TE leaning post features (4) rod holders behind the leaning post back rest, has (2) lockable storage compartments under the leaning post footrest and has a knife/pliers/ rigging needle/ice pick holder. A lockable (6) tackle storage tray compartment and large storage drawer is located on the port side of the leaning post.
- This is the last year and only 29TE on the market designed for serious Southport Fisherman with the Coffin Box lounge chair seat option instead of Forward Entertainment design that cuts down fishability.

Instead of the aft facing seats that are standard with the 27 CC and 29 CC models, the Southport 29 Tournament Edition’s leaning post has waist high access to a fresh/salt water sink, insulated bait box with gasketed lid and an above deck 45 gallon oval live-well that can be accessed while standing up. Cutting board lids are attached to the top of each of the various hatches providing (4) feet of rigging surface area. Strategically placed LED lights illuminate the rigging station during night fishing.
The 29 TE has an additional pair of stainless steel flush mount rod holders for a total of (8). A low profile transom rocket launcher rod holder is mounted to the outside of the aft bait rigging station which provides capacity for (6) additional rods.
