RIBs and Powerboats are now showing this very smart Bayliner 742 Cuddy sports cruiser fitted with a Mercruiser 250hp V6 inboard petrol engine. This boat has a great cockpit layout and has everything you need for a quiet night away.
Bayliner have been building boats for nearly seventy years, and their innovation has created some cracking sports boats. This 742 is one of their best and has some clever ideas. There is plenty of seating in the cockpit and the cuddy is a great size with a double berth and a natty sliding system for the toilet.
The specification and electronics include Garmin GPS unit, a Jessen Marine stereo, electric windlass, Electolux fridge unit, Sea Toilet, Single ring stove (alcohol fired), and a full range of gauges for the V8 Mercruiser powerplant.
The layout comprises of a good size “L” shaped seating area, a Single helm seat and a single passenger seat. This seats’ backrest can be folded forward which creates a lovely sun lounger by extending the bench down the port side.
This Bayliner comes complete with a cockpit canopy cover, and a tonneau cover too. She has never been antifouled, and the hull looks good.
