Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to five berths in master cabin and saloon.

The modern, comfortable saloon area has lots of natural light, with large windows and two opening roof hatches. There is an L shaped dinette with folding teak table on a telescopic leg. The galley is all electric (no gas onboard) with an induction hob and a combined microwave/convection oven/grill. There is hot and cold pressurised water to galley and heads. An Isotherm fridge and cupboard and drawer storage complete the galley. Stepping down to the forward cabin there are two double berths and a heads compartment with electric fresh water toilet, sink and shower attachment.

Heating to saloon and forward cabin, supplied by Webasto diesel fired, warm air heating system. 12V interior lighting.

 

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath the wheelhouse/cockpit floor, single Yanmar 4LV230 230hp fresh water cooled diesel engine (fitted June 2023 and routinely serviced at appropriate intervals, shaft drive to bronze fixed pitch 4 blade propeller (replaced June 2023). Single lever controls with electric start.  Approximate cruising speed 12 knots and approximate maximum speed 16 knots. New twin primary fuel filers/water separators for engine fitted January 2023. New exhaust system and water lock, new raw water sea cock and strainer, new cutlass bearing and all fuel hoses replaced in May 2023. 

Vetus bow and stern thrusters (hull seal and new electric motor fitted to stern thruster Jan 2024).

Alternator charging to 4 x 12V Batteries (December 2022)

Construction

Jersey 30 Motor Yacht built in 2016 by Boat Mouldings UK Limited to a design by Jon Collins. Grey GRP semi-displacement hull with white GRP superstructure, moulded non slip to decks and teak laid cockpit. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Transom gate to self draining cockpit. Topsides compound and polished, deck and cabin tops polished November 2024. Hull antifouled with Propspeed to propeller and rudder November 2024.

The stylish and practical Jersey 30 is a British built motor cruiser offering great interior and outdoor space. Her full width bi-fold doors are perfect for entertaining with generous side decks providing good access forward, ideal for single handed cruising.
