NG Explorer 50

The Pilot Yacht built in 2016 from the Explorer class by Next Generation Shipyards is a robust and highly seaworthy vessel (CE-A Ocean-going) that offers the luxury of a yacht both inside and out. It was developed from the experiences that the NG shipyard owner and several staff members gained as former co-director/owner and builders of "No Limit." He has built over 25 units of this "No Limits." After the owners of No Limit went their separate ways, the new NG shipyard owner wanted to bring a more modern version of the "No Limit" to the market, resulting in the yacht described above. The shipyard has since grown significantly and continues to build professional seaworthy vessels such as crew tenders, survey ships, and pilot boats for the Dutch pilot service. The ship is demonstrably well-maintained under the current and also first owner. The extensive and professional Simrad navigation equipment, AIS transponder, and Simrad 4G radar ensure a comfortable journey with a high degree of safety. The high-quality 2 Component Polyurethane blue hull coating is in good condition along with the rest of the ship. The Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines (each 435 hp) drive the propellers installed in half tunnels, which provides less vulnerability, better protection, and less draft. The D-fenders all around provide even greater stability (=safety) in bad weather. Plenty of storage space is available through numerous cabinets and drawers throughout the ship. The ship is equipped with: Spacious and recessed open cockpit for sheltered seating with fixed bench including matching cushions, the cockpit is equipped with a canopy with night/work lighting and can be extended with a canvas sunshade, cockpit with closed (deep) storage boxes, large storage hatch in the aft, foldable transom to be used as a swimming platform, entrance to the wheelhouse/salon via rear and side door (SB), full visibility all around from the helm, luxury Norsapp helm seat, professionally arranged dashboard with high-quality Simrad navigation instruments, WiFi network via 4G, for the co-pilot there is an electrically adjustable height seat available which can also be adjusted to a cozy sitting position at the drinks table, the interior is equipped with comfortable underfloor heating, Luxaflex pleated sun shading, Samsung TV on lift in salon, Samsung TV in fore cabin, large sliding roof above the helm, Bosch kitchen appliances with an induction cooktop/microwave oven/dishwasher, mosquito nets, Samsung washer/dryer combination, electrically sensitive equipment housed in the "technical room." In the forepeak, there is space for storage of various items such as ropes and fenders as well as the anchor chain. The engine room has an automatic fire extinguishing system & double fuel filters. The radar bracket is electrically foldable, as is the transom, which can be operated electrically both in the cockpit outside and on the dashboard inside. A comfortable cruising speed for inland waters is around 6 to 7 knots with a total consumption of approximately 10 liters per hour. The maximum speed is around 25 knots. A more detailed consumption table is available upon request. The air draft with the folded bracket is approximately 3.60 meters and with the bracket up approximately 6.20 meters.
