Back Cove Downeast 37

LAYOUT DESCRIPTION:

The Back Cove 37 reflects the spirit of the design and builder:  Ease of use; minimal maintenance; fuel efficiency;  all in a well built Down East motor yacht.

The forward stateroom has an island berth for ease of egress.  The berth hinges up easily to access full stowage space in addition to ample lockers and drawers.

To starboard aft, is a full guest cabin with a pullman berth and guest storage lockers.  To port is a large head with separate shower stall.

The galley is located between the lower and salon deck levels and has refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stainless steel sink and plenty of drawers and lockers for practical  galley stowage.  Overhead fixed windows provide bright, natural light.

In the salon twin helm seats are provided for the helmsman and navigator. Aft of the helm is an L-shaped settee with a second settee opposite. An elegant inlaid table offers a comfortable space for dining with crew and guests. Large windows offer plenty of light and air while overhead a large sliding pilot hatch allows air to flow through the salon. At the aft end of the main salon large swing-bi-fold doors completely open up the salon to the cockpit. At the transom, fixed seating provides comfortable outside lounging space.                   A retractable canvas awning protects from sun or rain when deployed.
