The Linssen Grand Sturdy 500 AC Variotop® surpasses the previous model series in all respects. The design is elegant and timeless. It is powerful with quiet functions in the engine room. The construction is well thought out and durable, and the interior is spacious and complete.
A yacht with Linssen-Variotop® uniquely offers a combination of indoor and outdoor steering positions with a flybridge. With a Linssen-Variotop®, you sit outside at the steering wheel, with the aft deck or the open cockpit connected to the steering salon, creating a large open deck. If the weather is less friendly, simply close the Variotop®. Then the steering position and cabin together form a large interior space. The Variotop® thus unites both areas and crew.
The Variotop® is a convertible top that transforms the wheelhouse into a completely waterproof and heat-insulated space thanks to sophisticated locking and sealing systems. When you close the Variotop® and the doors, the open steering position quickly becomes a heated Variotop® wheelhouse, where one enjoys staying. On warm summer days, when the ship gently sways on the waves at anchor or is moored at the quay, the Variotop® – now a fully-fledged Bimini top – provides cooling shade.
