Deck & Cockpit

When you approach “PARAIBA” you’ll first notice the Whisper grey AwlGrip painted hull and the Vermillion boot stripe that perfectly compliment the sleek Marlow Explorer lines.  The stainless-steel handrails paired with the immaculate brightwork are just a hint of how traditional and contemporary are melded together throughout the vessel. As you board “PARAIBA” from the large swim platform or from one of two sets of boarding gates located on either side of the cockpit you will find a natural teak deck. A large beautiful high gloss teak table and built-in settee are situated at the aft of the cockpit, and are perfect for cocktail hour. In the starboard side cabinet, you will find an additional docking station and ample storage below with adjustable shelves. As you move forward from the cockpit to the Portuguese bridge you have a safe and comfortable side deck.  The Bow features a built-in settee big enough for a mid-day siesta. Salon

The perfect union of old-world craftsmanship and modern interior design are on full display in "PARAIBA". With our traditional use of luxurious teak timber and contemporary textiles the interior space is inviting and awe inspiring. Upon entry, you immediately notice the stunning high gloss teak and ebony sole. The teak walls and cabinetry are counter balanced by the Zeus Blanco Silestone counter tops. To starboard there is a large L shape settee with ample storage underneath the seats, as well as additional storage to either side of the seating area. To port ‘payara" has two comfortable barrel chairs. The aft starboard corner has a large storage cabinet and on portside corner the entertainment cabinet. Above the entertainment cabinet is a 40-inch tv with built in sound bar. The forward wall is an accent paneled high gloss wall that brings a bright contemporary touch to the space and a perfect spot to display your art. Pilothouse

Forward of the salon in the companion way you will find neatly tucked away on port side a microwave and ice maker and on starboard side an additional beverage refrigerator and ice maker.  As you proceed up the three steps you land in the forward-facing galley. The galley is well laid out and outfitted so even the most demanding of chefs will enjoy cooking in. The forward windows have Poseidon electric blinds that can provide privacy at the touch of a button. Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is full beam and provides warmth and comfort all around. The large opening port windows allow the space to be cascaded with natural light.  The space is perfect for rejuvenating one's soul. The queen size bed is centerline with large drawer storage below.  The port and starboard side have mirrored cabinetry with cedar lined hanging lockers and a bank of deep drawers. Aft in the master stateroom has his and hers heads.  The heads are bright and airy with a luxury spa atheistic.  The large Romeo and Juliet shower has Grohe rain shower and frosted glass for privacy.  The Zeus Blanco Silestone floors are accented by the stainless steel “grout lines” that adds a pop of bling to the head. Additional storage is located in drawers beneath the bed and in the deck below. VIP Stateroom

The VIP is spacious and welcoming for your guests. A large, elevated bed sits centerline with drawer storage underneath. Additional berths are on the outboard sides forward of cedar lined hanging lockers on port and starboard side. Semi-Enclosed Flybridge

"PARAIBA" is a semi enclosed bridge.  The semi enclosed bridge integrates the windshield framing structure into a hardtop and house. This creates a fixed protective windscreen with windshield wipers and defrost. The sides and rear are open which provides the salt air and cool breeze. On the aft starboard corner of the semi encloser there is a large settee with high gloss teak table.   Fully equipped with an array of navigational tools including 2 large Garmin Screens, Autopilot, Thruster Controller, VHF radios, Fusion stereo and numerous others, she is a dream vessel for any Captain. Engine/Mechanical

  The engine room on “PARAIBA” is like a jewelry box filled with shiny gems. The center piece of the room are the twin C18 1150HP Caterpillar engines riding on carbon fiber stringers. With over 6 feet in headroom and full walk around capability checking all major components, pumps and filter an easy task. The Sea chest are in the aft outboard corners. The sea chest is a centralized system for distributing raw water to the engines, generators, and AC chillers. The 21kw Twin Onan Generators are aft of the engines. The single fuel tank is forward of the engines with a glass sight tube in the center for accurate readings. When it comes to the engine room every piece is laid out with the precision of a symphonic masterpiece.
