It features a hull with about a 13-degree deadrise at the transom, which gives it stability and efficiency inshore but makes it a bit rougher in offshore or choppier conditions. It’s powered by Yamaha outboards up to 250 horsepower, with cruising speeds in the mid-20s mph and top speeds approaching 45 mph depending on load and setup. In calm conditions, it delivers a smooth, dry ride, but in heavy chop, it can pound and transmit vibration more than deeper-V hull designs.The 231 Hybrid is built using 100% wood-free composite materials. Its one-piece foam-filled fiberglass stringer system adds rigidity and flotation, and the hull features air-assist chines for extra lift and stability at speed. It also includes RTM-molded fiberglass lids, a self-bailing cockpit, and a vinyl ester barrier coat to prevent osmotic blistering.All hardware is stainless steel, from the cleats and latches to the rod holders and thru-hulls.
