Special Features
Exterior Design
The Grande 26 M's organic curvature of the exteriors balances the sportive hull lines, creating an impossibly well-rounded aesthetic. According to the same concept, her imposing volume is lightened by the extensive glazed surfaces visible from the profile, which reach a maximum in the fore part of the main deck, inspiring wonder about the privileged master suite. Despite benefiting from a hard top, the yacht's proportions give her the streamlined feel of a coupé.
From the extended, full-beam Maxi Fly down to the elongated cockpit, and finally to the bathing platform, the Grande 26M boasts a wasteless use of space for the outdoor areas. On the aft part specifically, guests have a rich selection of terraces on the sea.
Deck2Deck Terrace—The Grande 26M is capable of a dazzling transformation, thanks to the innovative Deck 2 Deck™, which expands the cockpit onto a terrace over the waves. Built with versatility in mind, the opening transom comes all the way up to lie flush with the aft edge of the main deck. The new space offers boundless views of the sea and a walk-around table accessible on all four sides.
Interior Design
Freestanding, low-profile furniture allows the full-height windows to shine, yet it finds space to hide plenty of internal storage. The living and dining areas are separated not by barriers but by style distinctions.
Not content to accept the limitations of modern layouts, the Grande 26M searches for new spaces on the vertical axis. The multi-level design makes life on board a breeze, guaranteeing total privacy without compromise. The full-height-windowed owner's suite on the main deck is kept company by four guest cabins below deck and served by a crew area in the bow. The partially raised wheelhouse allows crew members to access their quarters from the side walkway in addition to the typical galley stair entrance.
Technical Features
The Grande 26M is the first yacht in the world to be equipped with the LARGE POD 4600, developed by Azimut in partnership with ZF. For the first time on larger boats, consumption can be reduced by 20% at the most frequently traveled speeds while offering superior maneuverability for mooring.
Azimut's pioneering use of carbon fiber lamination goes beyond pure performance. The Carbon-Tech Generation offers expanded volumes on board while maintaining excellent dynamic stability and perfect handling. Preserving the yacht's low center of gravity, the carbon fiber was focused on the upper parts of the yacht, lightening the laminated components by up to 30% and reducing the natural roll momentum by up to 15%.
Humphree automatic interceptors give the vessel the lift it needs to get up on the plane faster or to reach that optimum running trim. In this way, the resistance of the hull is automatically optimized for every speed and load condition, resulting in increased speed and lower fuel consumption. The Humphree system is all electric and powered by 12-24 Volt DC. Thanks to the design of the Interceptor, it only requires a small amount of power to move the blade up and down, even under high-speed operation.
The yacht has an AHU air extraction system, which continuously exchanges and purifies the air on board. Through extractors and air handling units, the rooms benefit from a continuous flow of fresh, clean air from the outside, filtering out the most undesirable particles and odors.
