The Dutch Runabout 22 is the ideal combination of a sloop and a speedboat: a spacious cockpit with seating for at least eight people and excellent sailing characteristics at both low and high speeds. This type of boat is also known as a Tender.
This beautiful speedboat with a retro look is very good to sail as a sloop. The 70hp Yamaha outboard motor is built into a well, this motor is very quiet and gets the boat up to 45 km/h in no time. By using an outboard motor, the very spacious self-draining cockpit remains open so that drinks can be enjoyed, and the backrest of the driver's seat can be folded down to create a comfortable seating area. This way, you can easily sit comfortably with 10 people on the thick cushions, which are covered with a fabric that can get wet and is easy to clean.
There is a lot of storage space under the foredeck and in the benches.
The eye on the transom along with the swim platform makes this a very easy boat to water ski or wakeboard or of course to tow a tube behind the boat.
The PVC deck gives a luxurious appearance and is very user-friendly, as is the laminated glass of the windshield which is mounted in beautifully styled aluminum framing. The lightweight, sandwich-built polyester hull is made at the Dutch yard Breehorn BV, builder of 4000 Polyvalken and the quality sailing yachts Breehorn.
The Dutch Runabout is 6.90 meters long (including swim platform) and 2.5 meters wide, making it trailerable.
