Aboard Seadeck, beauty is expressed through the simplicity of form. Aesthetic subtraction reveals an ambiance redefined by luxury with an essential appeal emphasizing well-being.The design concept, envisioned by Matteo Thun & AntonioRodriguez, concentrates on a conscious approach based on the choice of renovated and recycled materials, committing to an authentic and respectful relationship with nature.

A new lifestyle paradigm based on wellbeing. In their interior design for the Seadeck Series,Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, making their debut in the world of yachting, draw on the conscious philosophy that is the distinctive feature of their approach to architecture. The goals are twofold: to highlight the essence of a space where it’s easier to feel good, to redefine the concept of luxury based on well-being and the choice of gentle materials.

Warm, intimate light plays a fundamental role in the design, and to create an original interpretation of light and shadow the architects chose to use oak ribbing wood, a material that not only donates surface intensity but also contributes to the durability of the boat because it doesn’t scratch and lives longer.

The design is quiet, peaceful, like an oasis of peace. The keyword is gentleness. The interiors are characterized by timeless, enduring beauty, with neutral colors and simple finishes. The gentle, light, open-pored materials used for the boat’s interior give a feeling of relaxation and calm. Econyl, made from recycled nylon, is used for carpeting due to its softness.

Hull Design

The collaboration between NAMES and Azimut’s R&D Department pushes the forefront of innovation, designing customized hulls for each Series with sector’s most sophisticated methodology. In comparison with standard planing hulls optimized for POD propulsion, the hull of the Seadeck 6 is wider at the stern and more streamlined at the bow, allowing it to begin hydroplaning and therefore reducing drag at lower speeds. This advanced solution broadens the speed range at which the Seadeck 6 can navigate at peak efficiency.

Azimut’s pioneering use of carbon fiber extends beyond pure performance. For the first time ever, up to 40% of the Seadeck 6’s surface is laminated with carbon fiber, which lightens those parts by up to 30%, allowing for an unparalleled optimization of consumption and CO2 emissions.

Revealing an innovative and environmentally respectful spirit, the Azimut Seadeck Series embodies the desire to return to nature through a holistic concept developed to maximize contact with the sea. By merging technological solutions with a ‘conscious’ design philosophy that elevates well-being, this ideal family motor yacht consolidates Azimut’s longstanding low-emission vision, simultaneously introducing generous spaces and the Fun Island, an unprecedented water-level outdoor lounge offering an immersive ocean experience.

Focus on Sustainability

The Seadeck 6 can be equipped with 10 square meters solar panels installed on the deckhouse, resulting in a total power of 1410Wp. The energy generated by the solar panels contributes to charging the battery pack, lowering CO2emissions even further.

The Seadeck 6 features an innovative decking solution made entirely of cork, a sustainable material which, unlike traditional teak, can be harvested without damaging the tree and regrows over time. Cork’s mechanical properties perfectly fit the Seadeck philosophy, with a combination of natural texture, heat and noise insultation, and light weight (40% less than teak).

For the first time, Azimut has committed to usingPET to replace PVC, reducing the amount of new plastic needed. PET, a recycled material that comes from plastic bottles, makes up 30% of the total structure of Seadeck yachts. It is infused into all the bulkheads, floors and 75% of the inner deck equivalent to 15,000 plastic bottles recycled for each boat produced.

Persistent investment in the research and implementation of advanced technologies and sustainable materials has allowed the Seadeck Series to be the shipyard’s first to obtain the RINA GREEN PLUS PLATINUM certification for its environmental performance, even in its standard configuration.
