Accommodations

  • Owner’s Suite: The master suite is a spacious retreat with a large, comfortable bed, panoramic windows for stunning views, and an en-suite bathroom featuring high-end fixtures and a walk-in shower. It often includes a private study or lounge area.

Sound proofing and insulation:

  • The hull and superstructure will be insulated against sound and heat as necessary
    to maintain the acoustic performance fire protection performance so as required by Classification Society.
  • Particular attention will be given to the soundproofing scheme, using material and treatment appropriate to the location and nature of the spaces; reference will be made to the equipment frequency spectrum of noise emission and to the air and structure born noise.
  • Damping treatment will be foreseen on necessary areas, if required by the
    insulation scheme, by applying a sandwich of viscous-elastic damping material and steel plates. Areas to be damped will generally be main engines foundations to engine room bulkheads, according to the insulation scheme.
  • The material used will generally be mineral wool of appropriate density, according
    to needs: nowhere will faces of mineral wool be left unsheathed.
  • Adequate studs glued or welded to the structure, self-locking washers and light alloy extrusions will be used to secure the insulation in place.
  • Insulation will be applied after preservative coatings are applied to the structure, as the case may be.
  • All workmanship and installation will be performed in a workmanlike manner by qualified and experienced installers.

Engine room insulation:

Insulation of the engine room sides, bulkheads and ceiling will be as per the Builder
insulation and fire protection scheme; the following materials, according to areas
and necessities, will be generally used:

  • Mascoat Marine DTM to side of engine room.
  • Viscous-elastic damping material.
  • R3/T8 Steel plates (from 1,5 mm thickness with 12% perforing 70% covering).
  • İzover U Sea Protect Slab ALU 66 kg/m3 50mm
  • SOUNDECK Heavy Core Mass Layer 2100 kg/m3
  • İzocam glasswool Marine mat ALU 18 kg/m3 50mm

Accommodation insulation:

  • The shell, decks, bulkheads in hull and superstructure, excluding surfaces facing outwards, will be generally insulated with the following materials:
  • Mineral wool (density 50 Kg/m3 and thickness from 25 to 50 mm, as the case
    and according to the insulation plan).

Air ducting insulation:

  • Air ducting used for engine room ventilation and exhaust will be insulated
    above main deck according to Classification Society requirement in way of fire protection. Ducting for engine room internal air distribution will not be insulated.
  • Air conditioning ducts in accommodation areas will be made of pre-insulated
    pipes or insulated flexible ducts and so arranged to minimize voice transmission between adjacent accommodation spaces as well as to prevent condensation.

Exhausts generators:

  • Generator exhausts run through flexible hoses, water-locks and water
    separators. Hull penetration generator exhausts above waterline through a valve at the shell of the engine room.

Sea-Water System:

Inlet crossover connected with bolt to hull structure at the hull opening and filter
box. Inside Sea water used for:

  • Cooling main engines / generator inter cooler
  • Fire fighting
  • Air conditioning cooling pumps
  • Water maker
  • Spare
  • Elsewhere as necessary

Fuel System:

  • Integrated fuel tanks, valve chest in engine room with 1 electric and 1
    Manuel transfer pumps.
  • One filling points on main deck.
  • Level gauges to be fitted in engine room.
  • Main engines and generators will have a day tank with gauge and drain fitted
    in the engine room. Fuel filters between day tank and engines/generators.
  • Tank ventilations of all fuel tanks will come up superstructure.

Freshwater system:

  • Water-tank with level gauges.
  • One main deck filling point.
  • Consumers: Galley, washers, dishwashers, showers, baths, washbasins, wipers, deck showers, 3 deck wash taps, wet-bars, toilets etc.
  • Hot water supply from Cem pumps and 1x 100ltr Quick electric boiler.
  • Hot water to be supplied by a ring going around the boat circulated by a pump so that immediate hot water can be obtained at every tap. Tank ventilation, through swan-neck, at main deck level. Fresh water piping shall have smooth radius bends connections shall be used and is to be suitably insulated, acoustically and thermally to eliminate condensation. Piping: Aquatherm/Kalde-or equivalent.

Water maker:

  • Duplex Water maker reverse osmosis system.

Waste water system:

  • Waste water tank with level gauge.
  • One main deck extraction point.
  • Emptying by means of screw pump with a capacity of 50lt/min, and will have

    building specification. Drawings delivered by the naval architect will be
    followed by the builder.

Interior design:

  • The interior designer of the vessel is: CURIO Yacht Studio
  • The builder may appoint from time-to-time other exterior designers and notify
    that to the buyer. Any appointed (by the builder) interior designer is further
    referred to as “the interior designer”.
  • The builder will allow the interior designer to take photos of the vessel, in
    all building stages.

Stainless steel:

  • All stainless steel fitted must be AISI-316-L, high polished, unless
    otherwise specified.

Watertight hatches / doors in hull:

  • 60x60 Bofor Aluminium Hatches

Sliding doors:

  • The saloon will be equipped with a 4-panel aluminium painted sliding door.
  • The beach club will be equipped with a 3-panel aluminium painted sliding door.

Painting

General:

  • All paint used is to be of “two components” type and supplied by “Boero”
  • All paint used will be of high-quality yacht type. Applying instruction given by the manufacturer must be followed.
  • Paint to be applied in temperature-controlled environment.
  • Exposed areas (Hull & Deckhouse) are to be finally painted after receive fairing compound to eliminate dimples or unfairness.
  • Hull colour: Polyurethane metallic high gloss finish, colour (UNI) to be decided by owner, or as instructed by the designer.
  • Superstructure colour: Polyurethane metallic high gloss finish, colour (UNI) to be decided by owner, or as instructed by the designer.

Surface preparation:

  • All bare composite surfaces to be degreased and cleaned as required by the paint manufacturer. Primer to be applied to “two components” types.

Antifouling:

  • All areas below the waterline are to be painted with high quality antifouling.
  • If permitted by the regulations, the antifouling will be of commercial vessels type.

Filler fairing quality:

  • In respect of fairness, measured in all directions with a 3 m batten,
    deflections from a fair line will not exceed 1 mm (in 70% of the cases) and 2 mm (in 30% of the cases).
  • The 3 meters long batten, located in the vicinity of the surface, should reflect as much as possible as a straight, continuous element without breaks
    or discontinuities in the reflected image.

Deck Outfit

Teak Decks:

  • Where wood is abutted directly against composite, it is to be bedded in a heavy coat of a suitable bedding compound.
  • All exposed decks, benches, horizontal hatches, sun bathing areas and extended platform will be sheathed with teak planks.
  • Birmania Teak with a thickness of 12mm when fitted to decks.
  • Teak will be of first quality and it will be well laid out with margin planks and the planking following the curve of the gunwale and checked into a king plank.
  • Top of the exterior stair to be protected by a stainless-steel railing.
  • Vertical shaft electric stainless steel anchor winches/windlasses with chain stoppers, devil’s claws and chain rollers, all on a welded painted steel base plate with raised edge and drain. Hand-held remote controlled.
  • The margin plank to be thicker on the outer edge, as necessary, to ensure good drainage to the scupper pipes. Teak decks to be laid in “Sikaflex” black rubber compound, seams also filled with “Sikaflex” black rubber compound.

Exterior ceilings:

  • All exterior ceilings are lined with painted marine plywood panels glued to structure.
  • Ceiling panel will be painted forex sheets.
  • Selected panels will be removable by using fast mount.

Exterior stairs:

  • All exterior treads to be planked with teak.
  • Railing fixed to aluminium structure with insulation bushes.
  • Top of the exterior stair to be protected by a stainless-steel railing.

Anchor and chain:

  • Anchors and chains galvanized steel.
  • Two Pool anchors HHP (high holding power) of about 80kg each. Chains: 12 mm stud link U1, 2 x (two) 80m. prelim.

Anchor winch/windlass:

  • Vertical shaft electric stainless steel anchor winches/windlasses with chain stoppers, devil’s claws and chain rollers, all on a welded painted steel base plate with raised edge and drain. Hand-held remote controlled.
  • Make: 2 x (two) DATA DZC 1400-2 EPL/Kr Ø12 mm AISI 316L 24V DC

Capstans:

  • Data Hydraulics AISI 316L 24V DC

Deck lockers:

  • All lockers are to be weather-tight and drained. Hinges and handles are to be stainless steel.
  • Lockers fitted in all benches, and all other void spaces on decks.

Life buoy fixing:

  • Viking-Lifebuoy 2.5 kg, Datrex.

Deck shower:

  • A deck shower to be fitted at the swimming platform behind a hatch.
  • Provision will be made for fixing the spray head when used.

Mechanical Ladder:

  • OPACMARE Multifunctional Gangways 3625/14

Seating areas and sun-bathing areas:

  • As shown on the G.A. plan. Where possible all seating area to provide storage under.

Bollards and cleats:

  • 2 off – stainless steel mooring bollards/bitts (fwd - 1 port side & 1 x starboard side).
  • 4 off – smaller stainless steel mooring cleats on extended platform.

Railings:

  • Hull railings to be stainless steel railing. As proposed on G.A. plan, with removable Railing fixed to composite superstructure with insulation bushes.
  • Railing superstructure to be stainless steel railing.

Wipers:

  • All front wheelhouse windows will be fitted with windscreen wipers with a fresh-water Electric operated, heavy duty, for marine use.
  • Make: 2 x Speich Motor type M with DCS2 controller 24V 75° D=10 (TBD).

Shipyard trademark:

  • The name of the vessel will also apply, on both sides of superstructure in polished stainless steel, as well as the Builder’s trademark.

Inventory:

At least, the following items to be supplied and installed:

  • Mooring lines total 300 m diameter about 30mm, breaking strength 50kN.
  • 10 fenders PVC inflatable with synthetic fabric covers. Sizes to be directed.
  • 2 plastic buckets with line.
  • 2 boat hooks.
  • 4 life rings with name of the vessel, with attached buoyant line of 30m (each).
  • Other lifesaving appliances to comply with Classification Society and Flag authority optionally available.

Covers:

  • Sunbrella (acrylic) covers are provided over tenders and jet-skies, BBQ/Bar etc. and all exterior seats and tables.

Ship’s mast:

  • Radar antenna and other antennas and equipment (with all the necessary platforms and foundations) will be fitted on a mast or on the hard top flying bridge roof/bimini.
  • Structures to be added on top of this arch mast.
  • Access for maintenance, installation and wire pulling to be made.

Filling stations:

  • Inside the bulwark or deckhouse wall, filling boxes for fuel and fresh water to be made at both port & starboard and a drainpipe to the waste oil tank (if applicable).

Electrical Installations

General:

Two electrical systems to be fitted:

  • 24 V DC supplied by batteries.
  • 230V AC 50 Hz supplied by the generators and shore supply via EMS unit.
    All in accordance with marine practice. The installation is to be rated for a
    maximum internal ambient temperature of 45 °C. All automatic circuits shall have manual bypass systems, or be duplicated. All automatic float switches are to have manual override. Alarm system:

The system is divided in the following groups:

    the wheelhouse with remote panel in crew area and control or engine room.

Emergency lighting:

  • A 24V emergency lighting system is to be installed.
  • The emergency lights are switched automatically in case of a black out.
  • System endurance, fully loaded, is to be at least one hour.
  • In general, lamps will be 20 Watt, but in the E.R. 40 Watt lamps will be provided.

Navigation lights:

  • Navigation lights to comply with the International Regulations for Preventing
    Collision at Sea, 1972 as amended. Visual monitoring of the integrity of all circuits is to be seen in the wheelhouse. The digital panel is to be in mimic form integrated on general alarm system, showing the outline of the vessel, with light positions. Lights will be of approved type.

Ventilation

All stores to be ventilated by extraction system: may be coupled to the fan system
of the crew’s accommodation. All fans to be installed on rubber mountings and
connected to the solid ducting by means of flexible tubing.

Accommodation:

Bathrooms, toilet spaces, etc. to be coupled with delay-switch to one or more
extraction fan systems. The galley’s to be ventilated by the extraction fans and
supply fan mounted in or near the hood over the stove.

Engine room ventilation:

Under-pressure system. Air fan (two speeds) suck air from engine room, inlet by
natural flow. Capacity criteria of air-fan: engine room temperature not more than
15 °C above outside temperature. Combustion-air from the engine-room.
Ducts will be fitted (inside) with fire closing appliances made of steel which are
capable of being closed from a position outside the engine room. Air inlets will be
equipped with mist eliminators to prevent access from sea water or spray.

Air conditioning:

The yacht will have ventilation by natural, mechanical and ducted air-conditioning
systems, as appropriated throughout the yacht. The standard of ventilation and
air-conditioning will reflect the high standards of comfort required for a vessel of
this type.

Capacity for cooling and heating design criteria:

Summer:
Outside air: 35 °C.
Inside air: 22 °C. ±2 °C
Sea water: 28 °C.
Winter:
Outside air: 0 °C.
Inside air: 22 °C. ±2 °C
Sea water: 5 °C.

Air velocity will be kept as low as possible for noise reduction purposes. The type
of ventilation diffusers and insulation will be such so as to produce as low noise as
possible.

Cooling:

  • Full air conditioning system (seawater cooled chilled water system) with chillers (make: Webasto) fan coil units in accommodation areas.
  • Capacity and amount of fan-coils as directed by Webasto. Fan coil units of the make Webasto installed with ample size drip trays and drain to scupper pipes.

Heating:

  • Heating of the yacht can also be performed by the air conditioning fan coil units which will be supplied with hot water from the air conditioning system (reversed cycle mode).
