New mast in 2018, keels restored 2020, underwater painting 2023

The Nooit Volmaakt is a skûtsje over 120 years old, which was made seaworthy again in the early 1970s and converted into a family boat. Over ten years ago, the underwater hull and the deck were sandblasted. In recent years, the bottom has mostly been doubled (only not under the engine room) and the skeg has been renewed.

Five years ago, a new mast made of glued Oregon was installed. The end of the boom has been renewed. The keels have also been refurbished. The mainsail is aged but well maintained.

The finish is simple and fits the character of a former cargo ship. The U-shaped bench and a kerosene lamp above the table create a cozy atmosphere.

Since the cabin door is on the side, there is space for a (also) U-shaped galley. The window to the cockpit can be removed, allowing the cook to maintain contact with the crew in the cockpit during nice weather.

Past the cabin is a sleeping area with a double bed that can be closed off with a door. In the forepeak, there are two berths and all the way at the front, a storage space.

Since the boat is just under 15 meters, no boating license is required.
