Description
Avalon (ex-Argo III) is a rare opportunity to acquire a Borresen-built International Dragon with Olympic pedigree. Launched in 1958, she represented Canada at the 1972 Olympic Games in Kiel, Germany and has since been restored by Woodwind Yachts between 2015–2017, with over $146,000 CAD invested.
Her mahogany planked hull, teak decks, and Sitka spruce spar package have all been renewed and refinished to the highest standards. With updated rigging, sails by North, modernized systems, and a custom trailer, Avalon is a turn-key classic one-design racer that balances history, craftsmanship, and performance.
