Description
The Knutson 35, or K35, is one of Sparkman & Stephens finest designs. This 1957 classic, "Whisper" has been the beneficiary of a major refit, with a long list of updates from 2013-2020. Her current stewards have owned her since 1998 and have spared no expense in restoration. Mechanically she is strong with Beta 25, new exhaust system, new propeller/ shaft and new fuel tank. She has been rewired with Blue Seas panel, and electronics updates including Maretron Nema 2000 with DSM display, AIS, Raymarine GPS/ Chartplotter and Standard Horizon VHF. Structurally, she's had stem repair (replaced stem knee and forefoot), rebuilt mast step, fiberglassed deck and cabin top, new main/ forward hatches, new toerail and lifelines and planks below the waterline have been refastened. A new Carol Hasse Main rounds out the package. A comprehensive list is available with additional details. Health reasons have forced the owners to give up their beloved Whisper. The vessel is currently located at scenic Point Hudson Marina. Please call to arrange viewing.
