Accommodations & Interior

The interior of TIGRESS is nicely laid out with sleeping / living accommodations for a total of 6 people.
The hull interior thru out the boat is sheathed in varnished mahogany battens, the cabin sole is varnished teak and holly, bulkheads, joinery and trim are of varnished mahogany and overhead ceilings are painted white.
Furthest forward is the anchor / chain locker accessed from the interior thru and opening door in the forward bulkhead.
Next aft is the forward sleeping cabin with accommodations for 2 persons in a V-berth configuration with a filler board and cushion to covert the sleeping accommodations to a double berth.
Outboard and above the V-berths are storage shelves for personal gear and there is much in the way of additional storage space in a chest of drawers aft of the port berth, a hanging locker aft of the starboard and storage drawers and bins under the V-berths themselves.
Plenty of natural light is provided to the forward cabin by three (3) fixed port lights (port, starboard and forward) along with an varnished mahogany and tinted Lexan hatch overhead that can be opened for natural ventilation.
Electric LED lighting is provided thru-out.  Reading lights port and starboard at the heads of all berths.
A door aft provides privacy from the rest of the interior accommodations.
Next aft and slightly to starboard of center line is a passageway connecting the forward cabin to the main saloon.
To the starboard of the passageway is a large hanging locker.
To port of the passageway is the head / WC area that can be closed off for privacy by means of a sliding door.
The head / WC area is equipped with a compost toilet, vanity counter with inset stainless steel sink basin, hot and cold pressure water, mirror and plenty of storage space both below and above / outboard of the vanity counter.
Dorade vents in the head / WC area and the passageway along with an opening port in the head / WC area provide for ventilation of these spaces.
Electric LED lighting, opening and fixed ports provide for lighting day or night (red).
Furthest aft is the main saloon with living, sleeping and galley accommodations.
There are pilot berths and settees port and starboard.
The settees slide out to create additional sleeping berths.
There is a varnished mahogany dining table that folds up and is stored against the forward bulkhead when not in use.
There is plenty of storage space in drawers below the pilot berths and shelves above and outboard.
A wrap-around galley takes up the aft end of the main saloon with a large below-counter refrigerator to starboard, below counter storage space below companionway ladder, stainless steel sink basin with hot and cold pressure water to port of the companionway, under-counter dry goods storage outboard and aft to port and finally a gimbled 2-burner propane stove outboard to port.
Again. Plenty of storage space for china, cutlery, pots and pans in storage lockers outboard and below the galley counter surface in lockers, drawers and bins.
Lot’s of natural light from large and small fixed ports in the cabin sides and plenty of artificial light from reading and dome style lights.
