Description
Hughes 38 sloop in need of mechanical, cosmetic repair, and overall restoration. Offered as-is. Engine does not run; Does not include mainsail or Genoa. In 2008, the original owner replaced the Ballenger mast and standing rigging, and also installed a Harken MKIV 1 roller furling system for Genoa (Genoa not included). Universal 5411 2-cylinder raw-water cooled diesel had 491 hours as of several years ago. Hughes 38 sloop Sparkman & Stevens design shares same hull as the Hinckley 38. Updated mast and rigging makes this a worthy project for the right buyer willing to take it on.
