Exceptional Sailing Performance
Built with custom Leisure Furl in-boom furling sails and a 130% furling Genoa on a Harken Furler, Tahiti offers ease of sail handling, even for a short-handed crew. The brand-new sails, including the custom in-boom furling main and mizzen, were professionally crafted by Schurr Sails in Pensacola, Florida. For long voyages, the boat also comes with a complete set of spare sails, all inspected and repaired as needed. All standing rigging was professionally replaced by ZERN Rigging, one of Florida’s leading rigging experts, ensuring durability and safety.
State-of-the-Art Electrical & Power Systems
Beyond its exceptional sailing capabilities, Tahiti is in the process of being modernized with a state-of-the-art electrical system ready for complete off-grid living. Included in the sale are four brand-new 200Ah RENOGY Lithium-Ion batteries, 1,450W of solar panels, a Rover 60 Amp MPPT charge controller, a 12V 60A DC-DC battery charger, and a 3,000W Renogy pure sine wave inverter/charger. This advanced power setup enables sustainable energy management, making extended offshore passages comfortable and self-sufficient.
Comfort & Livability
Aboard Tahiti, comfort and functionality merge seamlessly. The custom stainless-steel stern seating provides a perfect space to relax while under sail or at anchor. The new davits support a brand-new Hypalon dinghy powered by a 2020 Honda four-stroke engine, allowing for easy shore access and exploration. The anchoring system has been significantly upgraded, featuring a Maxwell windlass, 400 feet of brand-new chain, a Viking 25 Storm Anchor (designed for a 60-70' vessel), and a stainless-steel Plowmaster 45lb CQR anchor. The Morgan 462 design gives the owner more than enough room to work on mechanical operations as the entire engine and generator have their own room to work in.
Inside, Tahiti is a spacious and versatile home on the water. The enclosed center cockpit features a custom strata glass enclosure and a bimini supporting two 550W solar panels, offering both shelter and renewable energy. The cabin stays cool and comfortable thanks to two 12,000BTU CRUISAIR STX air conditioning units. A 20-gallon water heater provides plenty of hot water, allowing for luxuries like a hot bath in the aft bathroom. Two brand-new 12V/120V marine refrigerators offer immense cold storage, perfect for provisioning on long voyages. A shower grey water sump system enhances onboard drainage and sanitation.

Accommodations
Tahiti offers versatile accommodations, making it ideal for small groups or families. A V-berth at the bow provides cozy sleeping arrangements for one to two people. The galley settee transforms into a double bed, while the captain's quarters can comfortably sleep two adults and optionally a third person or child. Additionally, the galley table could be converted to a double bed, and the enclosed cockpit comfortably houses two to three during crossings, enhancing comfort and functionality at sea. The entire center cockpit is enclosed with a custom enclosure featuring strata glass panels, and a bimini with two 550W Solar Panels Mounted for solar power. Onboard are two 12,000 BTU CRUISAIR STX air conditioners keeping the entire boat cool on hot tropical days. A 20 gallon water heater supplies enough hot water to the boat that you can take a hot bath in the aft bathroom.
Mechanical Equipment
The Yanmar 4JH3-HTE diesel engine (98.6 HP) and the Northern Lights 9KW generator are both in excellent operational condition, with recent inspections and updates. Engine components, including mounts and exhaust systems, were overhauled, ensuring reliability. All tanks, including fuel and diesel, have been inspected and cleaned. Propulsion is supported by a 3-blade variable-pitch bronze propeller, with a spare anode onboard.
Galley Equipment
The galley boasts brand new dual 12VDC/120VAC refrigerators, a three-burner gimbaled propane stove with a relocated safety shutoff, and granite countertops. Additional features include a stainless-steel sink with hot/cold pressure water and an operational garbage macerator. Electrical outlets in the galley meet updated GFCI safety standards.
Deck and Hull Equipment
The deck and hull were extensively refurbished, including a complete resurfacing of the deck, complete resurfacing of the masts, and reinforcement of mast steps. Brand new rigging and sails were installed, along with a hypalon dinghy featuring a 2020 Honda four-stroke engine mounted on new davits. The Maxwell windlass system was serviced, and is paired with 400 feet of brand new chain as well as two anchors (a Viking 25 Storm Anchor, and a Stainless Steel Plowmaster 45lb CQR.
Navigation Systems
Updated navigation is provided by a Garmin GPS Map 942xs Plus, GNX Wired Sail Pack 52, Garming GMR18HD+ Radar Dome, and Autohelm ST7000 autopilot, all tested and operational. Additional equipment includes a Ritchie compass, Garmin depth sounder & speed wheel, and ICOM VHF with MMSI registration capability. All wiring through masts were replaced including the RG-213 VHF Coax Cable. All components were inspected, repaired, or replaced as needed for accuracy and reliability.
Additional Equipment
Tahiti comes equipped with Leisure Furl in-boom furling sails, and a furling 130% Genoa on a Harken Furler. The vessel comes with ALL brand new standing and running rigging. All standing rigging was replaced professionally through ZERN Rigging in Pensacola, Florida - one of the leading experts in sailboat rigging in Florida. Additionally, Tahiti is equipped with brand new sails: genoa, custom in boom furling main, and custom in boom furling mizzen sails. Offered with the boat are the previous sails which can act as spare sails during major crossings (all previous sails were inspected and repaired where needed). All new sails and old sails were created and repaired by Schurr Sails in Pensacola, Florida. Custom 4-dog stainless steel portholes were installed and replaced the factory plastic portholes. BOMAR Hatches throughout. New Davits installed for easy dinghy launching and carrying. Custom stainless steel bench creates a spacious seating area on the stern of the vessel. Mounted to the bench railing is a Lewmar Aluminum danforth "lunch" anchor, two 175W RENOGY solar panels, and Registered EPIRB.
