Construction

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The hull is the original gelcoat and is in excellent condition. 
• Double waterline stripe. 
• Bottom painted spring 2024, as well as hull compounded and waxed yearly. 
• All hatches and ports are in very good shape, with minor grazing/scratches.
• The underbody has been checked yearly for osmosis issues (none has been found).
• New teak decks were installed by Jamestown Boat Yard in 2006 and were lightly sanded in 2024.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Fin keel.
• Keel bolts were checked in 2006, and rudder checked regularly as well.
• Foam filled Spade rudder.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Bukh 24hp.
• Engine hours @ June 2025 – 1,900 hours, which includes approx. 600 hours from the original engine.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

• Nautor two-blade folding prop.
• Cable steering gear.
• Destroyer style SST wheel with elk hide cover.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• 12V DC domestic system with 110AC ring main.
• 110V/30-amp shorepower.

 

Battery Banks:

• AGM start battery.
• House batteries - Rolls 6V, model 6FSGC GC2, 210ah - new 2025. Located in fiberglass box between aft and cabin berths.

 

Battery Chargers:

• 1 x Newmar ABC12-35.

• Pressurized water system.
• Isotemp Water Heater (heating element/thermostats replaced 2025). Bypass valves for easy winterization.

Fuel:

• Total fuel capacity of 37 US gallon (140 liters).

 

Fresh Water:

• Total freshwater capacity of 66 US gallon (250 liters).

 

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• Custom bladder type holding tank installed against bulkhead in forward cabin - approx. 30 US gallons (114 liters).

• B&G network series with two Network nav. repeaters and two Data repeaters in cockpit.

Accommodation

Summary of Accommodation:

• 5 berths in 2 cabins + 1 pipecot in saloon.
• Standard Swan 371 layout with a 3/4 and single in the aft cabin, one pilot berth and one bookshelf in main saloon, and pipe cots with mattresses forward. 
• Floorboards replaced in 2006 and still in good condition, showing slight wear.
• The overhead is clear and all overhead fiberglass areas are also in excellent shape.
• Light blue upholstery.
• Extra deck hatch in the head.
• Wet locker in aft cabin.
• New curtains - 2025.
• New cushion cover for nav. seat - 2025.

 

Description of layout:

• Main Saloon: A center-line drop-leaf teak table (removable for extra space) flanked by port and starboard settee berths (with storage behind) and a pilot berth to port. There is a bookshelf on the starboard side instead of a pilot berth.
• Forward Cabin: Two aluminum folding pipe cots with mattresses and storage below, plus a sail locker.
• Aft Cabin: Two berths, providing comfortable sleeping for crew or guests.
• Galley: Well-equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, deep sink, and ample counter and locker space. Designed for safe meal prep underway.
• Navigation Station: Opposite the galley, with a forward-facing chart table, electronics panel, and under-table chart stowage.
• Head: Includes a hand-held shower, vanity, and skylight for natural light and ventilation.

• Rod rigging replaced 2006.

Delivery Sails (used sails North made for our boat that are suitable for non-racing):

• Two roller furling jibs, fair condition, from old Hood furling unit.
• Used Dacron main, 2 reefs, fair condition.
• Roller furling jib (same cut as #2 racing jib).

• SST transom ladder.

 

Anchoring & Mooring Equipment:

Covers, Canvas & Cushions:

• Cockpit cushions.
• Bimini with s/s frame.
• Nylon awning that attaches to bimini and mast, with removable nylon side panel for use either side.
• Full awning with sides/stern to mast.

 

Note: There are other items that may not be on the boat at the time of inspection but will be included, such as an additional bimini with sides that cover the boat completely from stern to boom, life vests, boat seats that fit in to winch handle slots, yacht umbrellas, safety harnesses, MOB pole, special lights for racing safety, etc.

Safety Equipment

• Liferaft (may need certification).
• SST guard rails either side of companionway.
• SST lifelines.
• Back quarter section of lifelines each side drops for easy access.
