Maude is a pedigreed performance cruiser with true offshore capability and a history of thoughtful care. Hull #039 of just 87 built, this 1980 Nautor Swan 371 was designed by renowned naval architect Ron Holland and built by the legendary Nautor yard in Finland. She blends timeless Swan elegance with proven sailing performance and structural integrity.
A seven-time Mexico cruising veteran, Maude is outfitted for serious passagemaking. Her 24hp Bukh diesel engine was installed in 2006, and her rod standing rigging was professionally replaced by Rigworks in San Diego in 2013. In August 2025, she received new bottom paint and all-new thru-hulls, preparing her for many more safe and confident miles offshore.
Her teak decks were completely replaced in 2018, giving her a fresh, classic look with excellent underfoot feel and long-term durability. Below deck, you’ll find Nautor’s signature craftsmanship—warm teak joinery, a seakindly layout, and generous storage throughout. She also boasts extra sails, a large assortment of tools, and numerous spare parts—a true sailor’s boat, ready for bluewater or local cruising.
