Description
This Nelson 46 CC is not a typical production yacht, but a purpose-built offshore cruiser for sailors who value safety, autonomy, and structural integrity. The ketch rig, center cockpit layout, large tank capacities and recent refit make her particularly suitable for Mediterranean, Atlantic and long-term liveaboard projects.
During 2024 and 2025 the yacht underwent an extensive technical refit, including a complete overhaul of the Mercedes–Nanni 220S engine, new service and starter batteries, replacement of pumps, removal and full servicing of both masts with new internal electrical wiring, strength testing of the standing rigging, and renewal of antifouling and hull polish. In 2025, a new full-batten mainsail and a new mizzen sail were installed, all running rigging was replaced, and new custom-made mattresses were fitted throughout the yacht.
Compared to many modern charter-oriented yachts, she offers superior seaworthiness, redundancy and comfort at sea, with significantly reduced future investment needs thanks to the recent works completed. A rare opportunity to acquire a serious long-range sailing yacht in proven, upgraded condition.
