Description
A sought after, locally built Saturna 33 Offshore. These robust boats were built to travel anywhere with their robust keel and skeg. Significant interior space for a 33’ boat.
V-berth forward and the saloon table converts to a berth.
This one had some upgrades:
- 30 HP Yanmar engine (about 950 hours) in 2007.
- 2007 - New sails (main with two reefs and fully battened and a 135% genoa)
- New house battery in 2021 and new start battery in 2020.
- New shaft seal in 2021.
- New anchor in 2017
- Furuno GP-7000F Chartplotter plus individual depthsounder.
- Household weather station
- Propane space heater
- Some of the cabin lights have been converted to LED
Plumbed and wired for an Espar heater but the heater was removed.
Anchor rode is 50’ of chain and 200’ of rope with a 2018 anchor.
Beautiful kerosene lamp for light, ambiance, and heat.
However, while this boat has been actively cruised it will need some work to bring it up to modern standards. There also has been some wood damage from water intrusion.
