Prior Hull Repairs
When SPINDRIFT's current owner purchased her, the boat surveyed well with the exception of blisters in the hull. He wrote the following: "I wanted to keep the boat for a long time and wanted the blister problem properly repaired. The cost from Snead Island Boat Works (in Florida) was $5,100.00. I let the owner know I would buy the boat less $5,000, and have the boat stay at Snead Island Boat Works to have the work done then ship it to Massachusetts. The yard applied a total of eight coats of Interlux (epoxy) and two coats of bottom paint, the total cost was about $5,690.00 with the five months of boat storage while the work was being done.
