Below the waterline the vessel has a shoal draft fin keel with centerboard and a skeg mounted, partially balanced rudder.

The cockpit features pedestal steering with folding table, teak grates on seats and sole, and a canvas dodger. Vessel has a reverse style stern with a boarding ladder. There is extensive use of teak on deck.

The head compartment is forward of the saloon on the port side, and is large enough for a shower. The fore cabin has a double berth and lockers.

The cabin sole is traditional teak and holly laminate. Bulkheads are teak plywood and the cabinetry and trim are solid teak and teak plywood. There is extensive use of teak throughout.

The vessel is equipped with a 4 cylinder diesel auxiliary with shaft drive. Engine access is via a removable panel behind the companionway ladder.

Above the waterline, she has a balsa cored FRP hull with athwart-ships structural timbers, and a balsa cored FRP deck of generous scantlings.
