Excellent motor sailor Island Trader 40. Very solidly built ship with a lot of volume. This yacht is characterized by its extensive space, modern technology, solid engine and easy-to-handle sail area. Also suitable as a motoryacht or houseboat.

The tank size of 1000 liters of diesel and 1000 liters of water enables longer trips regardless of the supply.
A modern inverter provides permanent 230 volts, and the power supply comes from new (2022) custom-made solar panels.
A lithium expansion battery (2022) with 50 Ah supports the 3 x 110 Ah AGM batteries.
The three battery banks, four tanks and camera monitoring are conveniently displayed on a 12" monitor; the on-board PC can also be used for navigation with the TimeZero navigation software.
The ship's condition is reported daily via remote maintenance and the location is monitored.
A modern autopilot with a multifunctional display is available at the outside steering position, which is connected to a fish finder and radar.
A DSC radio system, handheld radio with DSC and AIS (2021) round off the navigation equipment.
Big cabin in front and the salon bench can be converted into a bed. The large cockpit and spacious foredeck invite you to linger. Large shower, electric toilet and an extensive kitchen with a large refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove and oven.

Sails are older but OK. Under sail, speeds of 8.5 knots were achieved on a beam reach, and on average around 6 knots when wind and waves are right.
