The Malö 40 is a stable and robust sailing yacht from the renowned Malö shipyard.

By cleverly utilizing the layout, there is plenty of storage space (2 deep cockpit lockers) and a comfortable centerboard cockpit. In the aft, there is a separate cabin where 2 adults can comfortably sleep. The fixed custom stainless steel guardrail makes it feel very safe on deck, and with the self-tacking jib, it is pleasant to beat upwind.

The ship has only been lightly used over the years, which is reflected in its good condition; both the deck, hull, and interior are certainly in very good condition for its age.

The interior is spacious with a cozy U-shaped seating area on the port side that can also be converted into a double bed. The longitudinal galley is equipped with plenty of cupboard space and features all modern amenities such as a stove with oven, running hot/cold water, and a top-loading refrigerator.

In the bow, there is a separate toilet area that can also be used as a wet cell. In the bow, there is a double V-berth and various storage options. A nice detail is the steps placed in the wall to access the escape hatch in case of emergency.
