Advantages of the boat
A sailboat ready to sail, self-sufficient and well-equipped
This 1985 keelboat (9.70 m, draft 1.10 m) is a versatile and reassuring unit, ideal for those looking for a boat that is both seaworthy, practical, and reliable, with many recent upgrades.
In terms of propulsion, the Yanmar 3YM20 engine installed in 2022 (only 500 hours) offers excellent reliability and controlled consumption. It is complemented by a recently serviced 2.5 hp Mercury outboard, perfect for the dinghy.
The rigging has been redone and all the sails are in very good condition, including a 2022 genoa, a well-maintained mainsail, as well as the spinnaker, jib, and storm jib to adapt the sail plan to all conditions.
Navigation is facilitated by modern equipment: Raymarine EV-100 autopilot, Garmin GPS, AIS, fixed and portable VHF, and a EPIRB beacon, ensuring safety and peace of mind even on offshore voyages.
In terms of energy, the boat is self-sufficient thanks to a 300W solar panel, a well-maintained battery bank (engine + service) and a Victron SmartShunt for monitoring consumption.
Onboard comfort is not lacking: a pleasant saloon, with a fridge, stove, toilet/shower, a new black water tank (2024), and a reinforced bimini for sailing in the tropics or unpredictable weather.
In terms of safety, everything is on board for long trips: 4-person liferaft, life jackets, lifeline, distress flares, fog horn, and updated fire extinguishers.
Finally, anchoring maneuvers are made easier by a dinghy in good condition, a new electric windlass (2024), 40 m of chain, and a mast ladder for easy access to the rigging.
