Description
Ivy is a beautiful and lovingly maintained example of the Thomas Gillmer designed Southern Cross 39. This vessel is known for its bluewater capabilities as a long range cruiser, and offers comfort, performance and reliability along with its beautiful classic styling. Ivy’s classic canoe stern, modified fin keel, and skeg-hung rudder, afford comfortable and safe passage making. The cutter rig and solid construction provide excellent performance in a wide range of conditions, and redundant systems of quality equipment ensure safety and operational dependability. Some of many recent upgrades include a complete interior refit including new varnish and headliners in 2023, Starlink, custom teak stern platform in 2023, and a new Magma propane grill in 2025.
