Purchased by current owners June 2024.
Currently docked in Pangkor Marina, Malaysia.
Due to an injury we have had to change our plans and put Otter up for sale.
After months of clean up, maintenance and upgrades we still haven't had a chance to take her out sailing.
Clean up :- entire boat emptied post purchase from previous owner. All old, unused or unessential gear removed.
Maintenance.
Teak deck fully cleaned and oiled.
Main cabin fully stripped, mechanically cleaned and relined.
50% of fresh water plumbing removed or replaced.
Entire upholstery, mattresses and cushions replaced, with new professional coverings.
New tap fitting in gallery and shower
Revamp bilge pump area and fittings.
All four engine mounts replaced.
Head refitted to new timber base.
New sunbrella cover for bimini, new in bag, not fitted.
New water filter and carbon housing.
Most interior lighting upgraded to LED.
Galley pantry stripped, rebuilt and new lining.
Engine fully serviced.
Hall Out Maintenance :-
Below waterline sanded back to gelcoat.
Nine thru hulls removed and epoxy filled in with minimum 9 layers of fiberglass.
Five thru hulls replaced and new seacocks.
Osmosis inspection and removal, hull left for 2 months to dry out.
2PK PPG primer / filler / sealer entire below waterline.
Copper coat to 10cm above waterline.
New composite material cuttless bearing
Two blade, feathering propellor serviced and antifoulled, two new anodised on shaft. Prop shaft inspectioned and in good condition, no bends.
