The Koopmans 36 from 1987 is a solid and seaworthy cruiser designed by the renowned Dutch naval architect Dick Koopmans, known for his balanced hull shapes and excellent sailing characteristics. This yacht has been extensively upgraded over the years, with major refits carried out in 2014, including a new keel, deckhouse, Flexiteak deck, standing rigging and genoa, significantly enhancing both safety and appearance. In 2017, a new Yanmar engine was installed, providing reliable and efficient propulsion. Further improvements followed in 2020, when the hull was professionally repainted, giving the yacht a fresh and modern look. With its proven design, substantial upgrades and careful maintenance, this Koopmans 36 offers confidence, comfort and excellent sailing performance, making it an ideal choice for serious cruising sailors.
