Description
Centurion 42
Builder: Henri Wauquiez | Designer: Ed Dubois
Year: 1987 (Hull No. 28) | Flag: Poland
Overview
The Centurion 42 is a high-performance racing hull designed by Ed Dubois. She is exceptionally fast even in light winds, while her substantial displacement (11 t) ensures a stable yet soft motion through the waves. The cockpit is comfortable and well-protected. Internally, the yacht features excellent finishes with a two-cabin layout and a unique elliptical dinette. The large galley with an oven is located to the aft, followed by the navigation station.
Purchased by the current owners in 2009, the yacht underwent a complete overhaul of the electronics, rigging, and engine that same year. She has been meticulously maintained for shorthanded sailing (set up for solo operation) and has cruised the Mediterranean extensively.
