Description
Designed by Ed Dubois and built by Westerly Yachts in 1987 The Westerly Storm 33 is a fin keel, aft cockpit, performance cruising yacht with modern layout with forward and aft cabins, spacious saloon, good chart table, galley and aft heads. Set out to satisfy both the gentleman cruiser and the racer, these boats are well known for being sea kindly boats with a turn of speed.
Osprey of Portland is offered to the market by its owner “as is”. She has been standing for a while now and whilst a good clean on deck will reveal a solid boat, down below will need some work before being able to enjoy her. Whilst the main saloon has had the headlining replaced with the more modern pads, the forward cabin, aft cabin, heads and sections in the galley will need addressing.
Equipment is recent and can be seen working in the pictures including a recent Raymarine chart plotter, Windex, Speed and Log and a recent VHF. Also in the pictures is the working Radar. The engine is showing as 3295 hours. Upholstery is in good order as is the woodwork and going on board it felt like a dry boat with no smells of damp or mould.
This is a boat that once the headlining is sorted out, is far from being a project and would once again grace the open seas. A condition survye was carried out in September 2021 which is available on requestshowing her to be of solid construction.
