This Catalina 34 has long been one of Catalinas most successful and popular cruising sailboats, offering an excellent combination of sailing performance, interior comfort, and reliability. This 1988 Catalina 34 is tastefully maintained and now benefits from attentive ownership and recent major overhauls.
Powered by a dependable UNIVERSAL M-25XP Diesel Engine, the vessel recently underwent significant professional service. In 2024, approximately $7,500 of engine work was completed by Gold Coast Marine in Ventura, addressing many key componets of the engines cooling, fuel, and exhast systems. SERVICE ITEMS INCLUDEDED REPLACEMENT of the Sea Water Pump, Heat Exchanger, Impeller, Thermostat kit, Coolant service, Fuel System filters and hoses, Oil and filter service, and exhaust system components including hoses, studs, gaskets, clamps, Zincs AND MUCH MORE upon request. This comprehensive service provides confidence that the engine and its supporting systems have been thoroughly addressed.

BOTTOM PAINT
The Boats bottom in 2025 received a Sand, prep, barrier coat, and 2 coats of bottom paint, with a third coat at the waterline
The cockpit is comfortable and functional, offering a great space for sailing or relaxing at anchor. At the Helm, a newer Garmin Chart plotter provides modern navigation capability, bringing updated electronics to this classic cruiser.
Below deck, the Catalina 34s spacious interior layout provides a comfortable cruising environment with ample storage and thoughtful design. The vessel is equipped with a manual Jabsco marine head in good working condition. An additional portable refrigerator unit is located beneath the navigation station provides extra cold storage capacity beyond the standard galley refrigeration.
The sail inventory includes both a Mainsail and Jib with sail covers, both in Fair Condition
Also included in the sale is a newer inflatable tender and Mercury Outboard.
