Description
Fast sailing cruiser of 9.4 m from 1989 with Yanmar 14 hp engine and comfortable equipment.
Due to the transition to a motorboat, this timeless Dehler 31 is for sale by the current 3rd owner. The ship was purchased in 2000 and has been significantly improved over 25 years.
The mainsail is still original, we sail well with it, nothing is wrong with it. The genoa (roller genoa) is from November 2011, so it was first sailed in 2012. The genoa is equipped with foam in the luff, so that when reefing the shape still remains good.
The spinnaker has been little used, is in very good condition and is equipped with a sock, making "setting" easy.
Engine:
Renewed in 2010. A new folding propeller has been installed, as "Gori" advised a larger folding propeller than the original. The propeller shaft was also renewed at that time.
The engine has always had its regular maintenance. Few engine hours, about 480.
The underwater hull.
No new gelshield has been applied. The underwater hull was stripped in 2017, paint layers removed, and then re-coated 5 times in primocon and subsequently 2 times in anti-fouling. However, this does not change the fact that there is osmosis in the ship. Repair costs about € 7,500.
The keel bolts were checked around 2005 and the sealant joint between the keel and the hull was renewed then.
We have had no problems with the rudder bearings. The gelcoat layer of the rudder has been removed and rebuilt with fiberglass mats and epoxy.
In the log screen, one little character is blinking, that is correct.
The 100 Ah battery is from March 2024. The other is slightly older.
The cooler is cooled by a compressor unit. This is equipped with a cold battery, allowing the refrigerator to function for another 8 hours with a dead battery. The cooler is equipped with a freezer compartment. With the 100 Ah battery, everything (including the cooler) works for about 24 hours. (So without shore power)
