Accommodations
The Irwin 54 offers a very spacious and well laid out interior. As soon as you enter the Main Salon, you are greeted with a bright, airy and very rich interior. To Starboard is an L-shaped settee with a nice size dining table. The dining table folds down to convert into an extra berth if necessary. Just aft of the settee is a small desk with a chair and breakfast bar that opens to the galley. To port is another large L-shaped settee. Aft of the settee is the Navigational Desk, with a large chart table, several drawers for storage, an electrical panel at your fingertips and all the navigational instruments in clear sight. Moving forward from the salon are Two Guest Cabins. The first cabin is to starboard and offers a double berth and several drawers for storage. Access to the guest head is across to port. Moving forward to the bow is a large Guest Stateroom, with a walk around queen bed, numerous storage drawers, one large hanging locker and private access to the guest head. Your guest will sleep very comfortably in this cozy stateroom. The Guest Head has an electric toilet, a large stand-up shower and plenty of storage compartments. The Galley is located aft of the main salon and down two stairs. To say the least this area as all the amenities of home. Starting with a large refrigerator, a top loading freezer compartment, tons of storage and all the appliances to prepare any gourmet meal. If you're planning long trips, this galley can handle loads of provisions. Across from the galley to port is the Crew Quarters/Work Room. This area is great for housing tools, spare parts and basically making any repairs necessary while underway. There is a single bunk available for a crew member. And, if you need to wash clothes then enjoy the washer and dryer located in this room as well. As you would expect with any big center cockpit yacht the aft V.I.P. Stateroom is gorgeous. There is a large walk around king berth with storage drawers below, numerous starboard and port hull side cabinets, a large hanging locker and shelving surrounding the hull sides. The Private V.I.P. Head has an electric toilet, a large stand-up shower, air conditioning and numerous storage compartments.
