Description

Known for their high quality build and sea kindly motion, Island Packet Yachts have earned a very favorable reputation among cruising and blue water sailors.

Designed by Bob Johnson, the Island Packet 31 offers a very room layout and all of the amenities necessary for long term cruising.  Her hull is easily driven by her 27hp Yanmar 3GM which is one of the most prized diesels in today's market.

Sequel has always been professionally maintained by one of New England’s finest boat yards and has recently received many very nice upgrades.  Highly Recommended!

Layout and Accommodations

The forward cabin has a very roomy "V" berth forward with a large opening hatch overhead and opening ports for great flow through ventilation. Aft of the forward V-berth cabin and to starboard is the private head with shower, hot/cold pressure water, a marine head, stainless steel sink and a shower. Across from the head is a large locker. Next aft is the main salon with traditional port and starboard facing settees. There is a large bulkhead mounted teak dining table that folds down and opens up to allow dining from both sides. The starboard settee forms into a double berth. On the port side of the companionway is the galley with a two burner propane stove with oven, SS sink and lots of storage. To starboard of the companionway is the electrical panel and a roomy quarter berth. The entire sole is teak and holly. The boat offers a large cockpit for entertaining or relaxing in comfort.
