Works completed in currrent ownership

Summary of Upgrades to ARGO since purchase:

All of the upgrades/work listed below are supported by invoices from the specialists who completed the work.

• Replace/refurbish gas supply to hob and oven, including new regulator valve, hose, copper tubing and isolation valve.
• Replace existing electrical panel and later addition with a custom designed and installed new panel, including rewiring  etc as required.
• Valet of Genoa and Mainsail and replacement UV strip to Genoa.
• All standing and running rigging replaced (2020).
• Roller reefing drum and vang stripped and serviced/refurbished.
• 160 litre fuel tank replaced by new stainless steel tank fabricated as per original.
• Fuel recirculation system including pump and filter installed adjacent to fuel tank to allow periodic fuel conditioning.
• Replace all flexible hoses throughout the boat and engine bay.
• Replace engine heat exchanger tube stack and engine exhaust elbow.
• Fit automatic electric bilge pump
• Full engine service and component replacement as necessary.
• Replace toilet in heads complete with new inlet/outlet hoses and seacocks.
• Replace all hull skin fittings and seacocks/hose tails.
• Slurry blast hull below water line and apply gel-shield prior to antifouling.
• Replace stern gland and anode and service rope cutter.
• Deep clean interior throughout, open and clean/sterilise water storage tanks under settee berths.
• Check and service steering system in aft cabin.
• Replace all keel bolts.
• Install 3 new batteries complete with isolator switches and Victron Charger.
• Replace all navigation lights and cabling.
• Fit AIS transponder/receiver and antenna
• Fit new fixed VHF radio and antenna.
• Fit new wind speed transmitter.
• Re-varnish the whole of the saloon and fit custom leather sleeve to internal portion of mast in saloon.
• Fit diesel space heater in cockpit locker with ducting to saloon, aft cabin and heads.
• Fit 240 volt socket outlets to galley and chart table complete with USB charging sockets.
• Replace steering compass and fit USB charging point and ipad support at helm.
• Supply new delta main anchor and 50m 8mm galvanised chain.
• Service all winches.
• Supply and fit full cockpit tent
• Supply and fit Ronstan series 6 trackless ball-side sliders to mainsail.

Engine

• Thorneycroft T80 4-cylinder 35hp diesel inboard. 
• Closed circuit cooling. 
• Reversing reduction gearbox and shaft driven 3 bladed propeller. 
• Single lever control, Electric start.
